The car was ordered with custom interior equipment including luxury trim, woodgrain and bright accents, special insulation, and carpeting, and the interior was refreshed during the refurbishment. The front springs were replaced and a dual-circuit master cylinder was installed during the refurbishment, and the seller states that brake components were replaced in May 2023. The car was delivered with power-assisted steering and brakes. Under prior ownership the car was repainted in metallic maroon, the bumpers were re-chromed, and trim items were replaced.ġ5″ Rally wheels were fitted with replacement trim rings and center caps during the refurbishment, and they are mounted with a mix set of tires. Nova SS models were equipped with a black-accented SS-logo grille, simulated air intakes on the hood, and a black panel with an SS logo between the taillights, and this example was ordered in Shadow Gray (17) with a black vinyl roof. This Nova was acquired by the seller in 2019, and is now offered with copies of the original order form, refurbishment documentation, spare trim pieces, an uninstalled Muncie four-speed manual transmission, and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name. Work in 2023 is said to consist of repairing a transmission pan leak and replacing the fuel lines, fuel sending unit and level sensor, and brake components as well as fluid services. It is also equipped with a Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission, a Harrison radiator, Flowmaster mufflers, black vinyl upholstery, woodgrain interior accents, and a Pioneer CD stereo. ![]() The car was refinished in metallic maroon, trim was replaced, the bumpers were re-chromed, and the replacement 350ci V8 was rebuilt and fitted with an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, a Holley carburetor, and an aftermarket camshaft. With Ground Ups help new weatherstripping is being installed soon, and surely there will be more.This 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS coupe underwent refurbishment between 20, and it is said to have remained within the seller’s family since 2008. The seller would only accept cash, traveling with a large sum of money is stressful but in the end, it was worth it. The first thought he had was, are you sure you want to sell it? As airline tickets aren’t cheap in Canada. A week later, the seller in Ontario with the 1970 Nova called him back and said he would sell him the car. After purchasing an airline ticket, the seller called back a few days later and said he didn’t want to sell it. Colin called the seller and arranged to fly down and purchase the 1970 Nova. He called back and said, “come buy this car” as it is a total restoration car. So he asked if they could go look at the car for him. He had a friend in Ontario close to the location of the car. ![]() After returning home to Canada, he spotted a 1970 Nova for sale in Ontario. He found a few nice cars that were affordable and well done. So, he was able to afford a trip to the US and check out some cars. He started off looking at 1st gen Camaro’s online and soon realized that they were too expensive. When he got the bug again to own a muscle car. ![]() Fast forward to 2015, when he attended a few car shows in his area. Colin had a few Muscle cars back in the early ’70s then life got in the way. ![]()
